ME amused and involved thousands of people in the most beautiful squares around Sicily with the call to action 'take your selfie and win', thanks to the luckiest ones have been able to win many Volotea prizes, such as discounts and tickets.
The Instant Win option incorporated into an entertainment tool such as ME The Selfie Machine was the key to the promotion carried out by the Spanish airline, perfectly combining engagement and marketing strategy.

I-Dea, the virtual oracle, was chosen by New Optic Italia to promote the products and vision of the brand NOI, ambassador of Made in Italy in the eyewear sector.
I-Dea sponsored the company at the MIDO international fair in Milan Rho from February 24th to February 26th.
NOI through the use of I-Dea not only had a support to purchase in a context of great turnout, combining the interaction with the customer to an overview of their production and vision given by the projection of videos on a maxi screen, NOI also gained an overview of costumer’s most expressed needs, in order to optimize their marketing campaigns.

In the months following the launch, we experienced the marketing power of ME The Selfie Machine. Here some of our costumers:

For Kasanova, at the inauguration of the new store in Varese, a postcard with a discount was offered after taking a Selfie.

In Savona, for "BIM-Ostello Università Project" organized by the Municipality of Savona, ME demonstrated to be a powerful tool for Tourism 2.0.

At BastaPoco Onlus events, ME has collected, in only one night, 300 shots, 40000 views and 50 new like for the FB page.

For MFCC Malta Trade Fair and for International Genoa Boat Show ME has attracted visitors and helepd the visitors to remmeber the brand they have visited.

At TuttaDritta in Piazza Castello, Turin, and Half Marathon Savona, ME has involved hundreds of athletes.

At Olioliva 2017 Me has launched a contest which involved over 300 people to take a selfie and share it on social networks, reaching between 1300 people between reactions and comments.

For Abiogen Pharma Me has collected more than 200 shots in just four hours, recording an average of 50 selfies per hour.

On the 21st March 2017, we attended Smart Retail in Arese, as exhibitors as well as sponsors. Throughout the various sessions, this day event gave us an opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss with other Italian operators, experts, innovators, and technology and tool developers about how to increase customer experience, loyalty, and preferences over time.

We presented Me,The Selfie Machine, a device that can be placed in any retail store, event or showroom, combining  the possibility of selfie shooting with the complex and integrated management of user-collected data for future customer profiling and advertising campaigns.

Mega 3, italian company from Savona, has chosen us for promoting of Auleum, the precious Gold Olive Oil, a new Luxury product entirely Made in Italy.
Throughout 2016 to now, we dealt with this unique and precious product. We realized the coordinated image of Auleum, logo, website and promotional material. For the launch of the Gold Olive Oil we designed different installations between art and technology with the aim of creating an event like no other. October 27th, 2016, the Shark Hall at the Genoa Aquarium became a stage where Auleum could be showed on Ta.Bi, the magic surface which amazed guests highlighting its most amazing features.

Six models in the course of three weekends , recorded about 2000 persons in front of exhibition space of Milan’s La Rinascente and awarded 20 prizes , using the Survey system developed by SPX LAB, available on iPad tablet. Thanks to remote database connections, Survey enables information to be collected and analysed in real time. The game mechanics and data collection took place in compliance with the regulations . For Rimini Wellness 2014 event, FAGE chose to use SPX LAB's Me.The Selfie Machine, a solution designed to promote the company and its products in a completely original way. The large screen, which can be installed in a stand, shop or any kind of promotional space, lets customers take selfies with a product selected by the company. While customers have fun, they are also acting as a testimonial for the product. Thanks also to the social sharing integrated, the company may use data collection and sharing images of the product itself.

SPX LAB provides the Italian branches of supermarket chain Simply Italia with a mass retail solution for its corporate marketing strategy; Expo, a digital signage tower with an interactive screen which is customisable with regard to both content and container.The application is unique in that it is able to pair wines with different types of food, thereby helping to increase sales figures. By opting for this extremely original advertising solution, the company has succeeded in catching the attention of shoppers and has gained greater visibility.

Cloud Development and Production Application

As part of the Test Zanichelli, ZTE, project – an application for doing online exercises – we have designed and built the infrastructure for this application development, production, and evolutionary maintenance. The infrastructure allows you to separately manage the various application development phases, namely development, testing, and production. This fully automated process needs no manual operation for installation or backup. In this way no manual errors can be made, while any failures are immediately reported by an automated monitoring system. The usage-based infrastructure is also highly convenient. Should more power be needed, the infrastructure automatically scales up to handle any demand peak and then returns to its steady state configuration. AWS (Amazon Web Services) is used for clouding, BitBucket for versioning, Nagios for automatic monitoring. Everything is managed by our DevOps experts, in full compliance with data protection regulations (Data Protection Directive 95/46 EC).

Easy Dentist is a customizable application developped by SPX LAB to manage customer appointments and provide them precise informations. It's a simple computer program, accesible from the studio by entering the day shift. The list will be displayed on large screens in order that patiens can monitor their turn. The system is also able to store appointments in different professional studios , and supports simultaneously transmission of any kind of information, related to the studio, the events or promotions.

The School of Architecture, University of Genoa, has asked us to design and build DaysIDesign, a portal for document management of design classes and workshops, held both in Italy and abroad. The portal also allows for fully automated event organization and management.

During the 2011-2012 theatre season, SPX LAB created a 30-second streaming system for the Teatro Manzoni to entice spectators to the scheduled shows. The pre-recorded 30-second videos have been linked to a QR Code distributed through postcards and press ads. SPX LAB has also collaborated to setting up the professional video camera and server infrastructure.

Discovering Itinere Baveno

Itinere Baveno is a new approach to travel around the country, based on QR Code labels applied on tourist attractions. The city is populated with yellow interactive panels guiding smartphone holding tourists through the discovery of local attractions and landmarks. Each panel carries a QR Code assigning a digital identity to each attraction with real time displayed information, insights, and images.

Based on a concept design by the School of Architecture, University of Genoa, and in collaboration with Madi Ventura, we have created a food vending machine simulator. Through a guided system and a large touch interface, customers may not only choose a product, but also get relevant detailed information, recipes, and other contents that can be downloaded or sent via the web.
