SPX Lab is present for the first time at Genoa BeDesign Week with an exciting exhibition showcasing the combination of technology and design aimed at the rethinking of increasingly innovative and functional furniture complements. The exhibition space at 7 Via Chiabrera Underground, titled “ERA”, from May 24 to 28 from h10 a.m. to h22 p.m., will showcase the creations of our Genoese multidisciplinary workshop, taking visitors on an interactive and visual journey.
Imagine a place where design meets technology, and where beauty merges with innovation. This is what SPX Lab proposes with “ERA”, a vision that brings the furniture complement to a new level of interaction and involvement. At the center of the exhibition are two creations, Mirò, the mirror beyond reflection, and Ta.Bi, the magic of things.
Mirò is an exclusive, beautiful and innovative piece of jewelry that conveys elegance and modernity offering a new and unique experience, a magical and luxurious mirror that can do things never seen before. Exactly identical to a furniture mirror whose identity and the traditional reflective surface for frontal viewing, Mirò stands out by the technology inside it, invisible and discreet, capable of offering completely unexpected: rear view, magnification of facial details and reflection in the art of contemporary digital artists. Miró adds to wood and iron, digital and mirror for a never-before experienced experience.
Ta.Bi is a unique design table because it is tangible: it can be a piece of furniture with a living and dynamic surface, or it can tell stories through objects that are placed and moved on its “smart” surface.
Among the stories that can be discovered in “ERA”, there is that of the Third Paradise by maestro Michelangelo Pistoletto, an iconic work of art told through its formulaic mathematics, and Auleum, the beauty of oil, a food & design project that encompasses some of the excellence of the Ligurian territory, which merges and interacts with the surface.
